Compliance with health and safety standards is integral to everything A1 Shotcrete does.
A1 Shotcrete has been building pool shells since 2014. Working all over the UK, we have been involved in the construction of many hundreds of pools. Infinity pools, deck-level pools, freeform shapes, geometric shapes, indoors, outdoors, our experience across both residential and commercial projects is vast. Our reputation for excellence has made us a preferred partner to many architects, swimming pool companies and developers.
We have a responsibility to keep our team safe and minimise risk in their working environment. Every member of our team has a responsibility to keep themselves and their colleagues safe. Every day, no excuses.
- We carry out risk assessments and provide a method statement for every project.
- Every team is led by a supervisor. Every supervisor is carefully trained to manage the team on site.
- Every team member is a CSCS card holder, which means they have successfully completed health and safety training.
- New members of the team are carefully trained and closely monitored on site, be it working with steel, sprayed concrete application or concrete repairs.
- Teams are expected to attend on-site toolbox talks and site-specific briefings.
- We supply PPE to all our employees, ensuring they are appropriately kitted out for their work. Importantly, it also always ensures visibility, further reducing the risk of accident on site.
- We continuously monitor and improve our H&S processes to ensure the safest working environment possible.
